Protection of heating systems

geothermal energy

Water stored in the ground can be used in geothermal energy heating systems to provide cooling during the summer and heating during the winter period. The energy is stored in groundwater that is pumped up and that is used to deliver heat or cold to the user. However there can be sand or other dirt in the water that can be a problem for the pump and for the heat exchangers.

Therefore it is important to protect the equipment by adding a protection filter that separates the particles from the main flow.

Our cyclon-phin is the ideal solution since it is able to remove great quantity of solids and requires very low maintenance. The system can be completly automized with automatic drain valves. Various sizes are available for handling of flows from 4 m3/h up to 190 m3/h. We offer also customized solutions.
