cyclo-phin is a stainless steel cyclone water filter or also called hydrocyclones. Thanks to their design cyclone water filters transform the tangential inlet flow into a whirlpool that separates particles thanks to the centrifugal force pressing them against the body of the filter.
They are ideal for the removal of sand or other heavier particles from the water and have a very high removal rate.
Typical applications for hydrocyclones are removal of sand from water wells, cooling water taken from rivers or lakes, pre-filtration or protective filtration for downstream equipment.

the cyclon filter can be equipped with a 24Vdc automatic drain valve kit which can be controlled by an electronic programmable control unit to automatically drain the filter. The valve can be either hydraulic or pneumatic.
the filter can be equipped with a TIMER KIT to control the automatic drain valves’ opening and closure by adjustable time intervals.
