cyclo-phin is a stainless steel cyclone water filter (also called hydrocyclones). Thanks to their design, cyclone water filters transform the tangential inlet flow into a whirlpool that separates particles by means of the centrifugal force pressing them against the body of the filter; they have a very high removal rate.
They are ideal for removing sand or other heavier particles from the water. Typical applications for hydrocyclones include sand removal from water wells, cooling water taken from rivers or lakes, and pre-filtration or protective filtration for downstream equipment.
