Protezione del separatore di radon

L'associazione economica per l'approvvigionamento idrico di Hjoggböleforsen ha ricevuto dal comune di Skellefteå la richiesta di ridurre il contenuto di radon nelle sue acque.

When installing the radon separator, it was discovered that some sand and gravel came up together with water and settled to the bottom of the radon separator. To avoid clogging, we installed a prime-phin as a pre-filter to separate the sand particles with strong results: after some operating time, the radon separator was inspected and no sand nor other particles were observed.

In this application, the installation of a pre-filtering stage has extended the life of the entire plant and reduced the need for maintenance.
