Il processo crea una superficie omogenea rimuovendo un sottile strato di metallo (circa 1 \u00b5m) e creando una superficie ruvida che migliorer\u00e0 l'aderenza dei successivi trattamenti di deposizione chimica.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nel caso di oggetti in acciaio inossidabile come i nostri filtri, pu\u00f2 essere considerato un trattamento di finitura.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La micropallinatura \u00e8 un processo di deformazione a freddo. Si ottiene impattando le superfici con sfere metalliche e non metalliche. L'obiettivo del processo \u00e8 lasciare forze di compressione residue nello strato superficiale del metallo, aumentandone la resistenza alla fatica.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Passivazione<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Il secondo trattamento superficiale che applichiamo ai nostri filtri \u00e8 la passivazione.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tutti i nostri filtri sono realizzati in acciaio inossidabile. Il nome si riferisce alla capacit\u00e0 di questo tipo di metallo di resistere alla corrosione. Uno strato protettivo si forma sulla superficie dei componenti. La capacit\u00e0 di formare lo strato \u00e8 assicurata dalla presenza di cromo nella lega. Infatti, per essere considerata acciaio inossidabile, una lega di ferro deve avere un contenuto di cromo di almeno il 10,5%. Il cromo crea un sottile strato di ossido sulla superficie che ne impedisce la corrosione.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tuttavia, la comparsa di ruggine dopo un breve periodo di tempo non \u00e8 insolita.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00c8 interessante sapere che lo strato protettivo ha uno spessore di soli pochi nanometri. Dopo la lavorazione meccanica e la saldatura, piccole particelle e aree sulla superficie tendono ad avere un alto contenuto di ferro libero e sono soggette a corrosione.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La passivazione \u00e8 un processo chimico che mira a ridurre la reattivit\u00e0 chimica della sua superficie. Il nome si riferisce alla capacit\u00e0 del metallo di essere passivo nei confronti dell'ambiente esterno, ovvero meno reattivo. La passivazione rimuove il ferro libero dalla superficie utilizzando una soluzione acida.
