Dies geschieht, weil Luft in das System eindringen kann, wodurch der Sauerstoff mit den Rohren reagiert und Rost entsteht. Dieser vermischt sich mit dem Wasser und bildet sogenannten Heizungsschlamm oder Magnetit.
